The Chamber’s Small Business Support Programming goes beyond the start up phase to provide necessary resources to almost any small business. Whether you are a: an entrepreneur with an idea, a newcomer to the area, a home-based business, or looking to grow and thrive, this program meets you wherever you are.
SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAM
Are you a small business owner looking for suport to establish your business and build a strong foundation to allow you to grow to the next stage?
Here's how we can help:
One-on-one strategy + coaching consultations: discuss steps for pursuing new business ideas, starting a new business, or addressing questions about your current business. Our Small business support strategist will meet with you to provide you resources, training, and connections related to all aspects of business.
Learning Events: Through various lunch and learns, chamber luncheons and training sessions to empower you with practical information and tools to expand your business knowledge.
Business Resources: we can help you navigate the many small business resources available and connect you with the right tools and organizations you need.
HOW THIS PROGRAM STANDS OUT:
- Events and connections are in your own community.
- You receive customized support and customized connections to other local businesses and mentors to expand your network for learning and accountability.
- Help goes beyond the start up phase, and helps your business with retention and expansion.
This support program focuses on diversifying from services that organizations like Community Futures, Business Link, and Futurprenuer currently offer. We will refer to these organizations along with local Economic Development offices whenever possible, but all programming is done by the main coach and facilitator who is also a local business owner.
SMALL BUSINESS BOOST MEMBERSHIP

For small businesses, start ups, home-based businesses, and solopreneurs who are committed to investing the time to working ON their business with tools, resources and accountability. This membership includes everything in the standard Business Membership PLUS FREE access to monthly 1-1 coaching + strategy support plus accountability check in’s throughout the month, access to learning events (typically each month), mentorship, and a cohort group for Business Boost Members.
LEARNING EVENTS
Educational events held in your own community including Lunch and Learns focussed on topics such as marketing & sales, accounting & tax, or HR & hiring; symposiums to get in-depth on important topics; and luncheons featuring expert educational speakers on a variety of subject areas.
